Since 1900, Otake Budoen has hand-crafted Kitaaizu Wine the traditional way from its own vineyards in Aizuwakamatsu.
Kitaaizu Wine is made by Otake Budoen, a small winery in the Kitaaizu district of Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima, which has grown grapes since 1893 and made wine since 1900. It grows Muscat Bailey A, Cabernet Sauvignon, Müller-Thurgau, and Delaware, handling everything from cultivation to fermentation and bottling on its own grounds using traditional methods.
