Domaine Towa is operated by the social welfare corporation Takasu Kyoseikai in Takasu, northern Hokkaido, growing grapes and vinifying wine on site. The winery obtained its brewing license in 2024, making it one of the region's newest producers. Seven varieties are cultivated, from Bacchus and Gewürztraminer to Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Zweigelt, grown in a cool basin in Japan's far north.
