Domaine Yui was founded in 2019 by a couple who relocated from Tokyo to Yoichi, drawn by a climate — long sunshine hours, wide day-night temperature swings, good airflow — well suited to fruit growing. The vineyard is farmed without pesticides or fertilizer, and the winemaking adds no sulfites and nothing else artificial. Five hectares of estate vines yield about 20,000 bottles a year.
