Housui Winery grew out of the Iwamizawa Specialty Grape Promotion Association in the snow country of Iwamizawa, Hokkaido, within GI Hokkaido (Geographical Indication). It grows Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Lemberger, Regent, Bacchus and Kerner, making a traditional-method, bottle-fermented sparkling wine alongside its still reds and whites.
