Kussharo Caldera Winery

Kussharo Caldera Winery opened in August 2024 on a site overlooking Lake Kussharo in Teshikaga, run by Teshikaga Farm Co. as a town-designated management project. It makes natural wine from Yamasachi, a cold-hardy grape grown in Teshikaga, with initial annual production of around 2,000 liters. Visitors can taste the wine at a counter looking out over the lake.
