Kobe's long-running municipal winery reopened in 2025 as Kobe Agri Park, still pouring Kobe-grown wine inside a sprawling agricultural theme park.
Kobe Winery has long been a fixture of Nishi Ward's agricultural park, and on April 12, 2025 it reopened under private management as Kobe Agri Park. Wine production and sales continue under Hakutsuru Sake Brewing Co., which took over the Kobe Wine business, using only grapes grown within Kobe, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Riesling. First vinified in 1983, the wine is sold and tasted on-site at a park that also houses a barbecue area, pitch-and-putt golf and go-karts, with free admission and parking.
