Buryu Winery opened in 2022 in the Zuiryu area of Hitachiota, Ibaraki, a district with more than 50 years of grape cultivation. It aims to preserve the local satoyama landscape and carry wine culture into the future, working with Steuben, Kyoho, and Muscat Bailey A grapes. It is a member of the Japan Winery Association.
