Takahashi Vineyard is run by a winemaker trained at Austria's national wine school, in the Ohasama area of Hanamaki. Under the idea that wine is something that arises naturally in daily life — in other words, a culture — the winery aims to capture Ohasama's climate in a wine that is soft yet retains a core of structure.
