Shikoku's first wine factory, set in Ōkushi Nature Park over the Seto Inland Sea, built on Kagawa's own Kagadainou R-1 grape.
Sanuki Winery opened in 1988 as Shikoku's first wine factory, inside Ōkushi Nature Park overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. It uses Kagawa-grown grapes, including the prefecture's own Kagadainou R-1 variety, to make wines meant to pair with local food, and has produced its distinctive white ソヴァジョーヌ・サヴルーズ from the same grape since 2006.
