Kentoku Winery

Kentoku Winery has an unusual origin: recycling firm Omori Sangyo founded a farming subsidiary in 2014 to re-employ its older workers, and the vineyard they planted grew into Sagamihara's only winery. Certified under the city's wine special-zone program, the estate obtained its own license in January 2023 after years of contract winemaking. Everything is estate fruit, released as single-variety 'Sagamihara Wine' from an ambitious range of plantings — Chardonnay, Albariño and Petit Manseng through Cabernet Sauvignon and Muscat Bailey A. Wines are sold online and through local stockists.
