Belly Beads Winery

Belly Beads Winery opened in 2018 in the Muneka district of Shiojiri, Nagano, and joined the Otaki Group — a Nagano restaurant operator — in a 2020 reorganization. Its estate vineyard, at 780 meters elevation, grows Concord, Merlot, Muscat Bailey A, Pinot Noir, Niagara, Chardonnay and other varieties, feeding both wine and cider production. The signature is a low-temperature-fermented Niagara wine. A direct-sales shop three minutes on foot from Shiojiri Station sells the winery’s wines and ciders.
