Clos de Tenryu Chateau Kiribayashi

Clos de Tenryu Chateau Kiribayashi opened in March 2022 in Kiribayashi, Iida, after simultaneously obtaining a wine brewing license, a brandy distillation license, a liqueur manufacturing license and a liquor sales license. Its debut wine, Asayake, is an orange wine made from 100% Nagano-grown Koshu (Japan's indigenous white grape). The estate also grows Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Viognier. Visits require an advance phone call.
