Domaine de Yunohara

Domaine de Yunohara was opened in August 2023 by Oiwakeya, a ryokan in Matsumoto's Utsukushigahara Onsen founded in 1964, out of a wish to bring back the sight of vineyards on the land. It sits in the Yunohara area of Satoyamabe, considered the birthplace of grape cultivation in Shinshu, and the cellar occupies a historic building relocated to the site, the former Ota-kan silk mill — a distinctive winery built around a long-established hot-spring inn.
