Domaine Fujita

Domaine Fujita was established in January 2019, clearing abandoned farmland at 840 to 900 meters in the Nukaji and Awariko districts of Komoro, on the southern foot of Mt. Asama, to plant Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. It obtained its own brewing license in autumn 2021 and makes wine in a single-vineyard, single-variety style modeled on Burgundy. Founder Masato Fujita has since passed away, but the winery continues under his philosophy.
