Kusunoki Winery pursues wine that is high-quality yet gentle and elegant, made to pair with Japanese cuisine, using grapes grown under a cover-cropped regime that limits pesticides and chemical fertilizer. The owner, who studied winemaking in Australia, obtained a brewing license in 2011.
