Le Milieu

Founded in March 2018 by Go Shiose and Sho Saito, Le Milieu received its brewing license that November and became the first winery under the 'North Alps Azumino Special Wine Zone.' Every step — growing, winemaking, even label application — is done by hand. Full-scale production began in autumn 2019, using Chardonnay, Merlot and Ryugan grapes grown in Azumino.
