Minakata Jozo

Minakata Jozo was founded by Nobuari Soga, who opened the winery in Nakagawa village, Nagano in June 2021 after training at Domaine Oyamada. He works with Chardonnay, Savagnin, Petit Manseng, Gamay, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Mourvèdre grown in Nakagawa, aiming for an unpretentious, farmer’s style of winemaking. Output is small, and many of the labels are hard to find.
