Northern Alps Vineyard sits at the foot of the Northern Alps in Omachi. Owner Masaki Wakabayashi began growing grapes on his family's farmland in 2008 to fulfill a dream held since his twenties, and the winery was established in 2015. It aims to make wine like a craftsman's handmade work, and holds national certification as a sixth-sector-industrialization winery.
