Shinshu Takayama Winery grew out of the Takayama Village Wine Grape Study Group, established in 2015 with its first vintage crushed the following year. It aims to express the terroir of Takayama Village for the world, through varietal wines from Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon alongside its Murayori Family Reserve line.
