Villa d'Est Winery

Villa d'Est Winery grew from a farm opened in 1991 when essayist and painter Toyoo Tamamura relocated to Tomi, and the winery itself was established in 2003. A pioneer of the Nagano Wine movement, it promotes the appeal of satoyama living alongside wine, producing Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc whites and a Merlot red under its Vignerons Reserve label.
