Cave d'Occi Winery is the anchor winery of the Niigata Wine Coast, spread across the dune sands of Kakudahama. Founded in 1992 on a commitment to 100% domestically grown grapes and 100% European varieties, it has grown into a stay-and-taste resort combining vineyards, a hot spring, lodging, and dining. Albariño, its flagship white, is joined by the sparkling Sable and the everyday Dobutsu (Animal) series of reds and whites.
