Domaine Chaud is a small, husband-and-wife winery in Niigata making wine entirely from Japan-grown grapes, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Syrah and Pinot Noir. Grapes are grown without herbicides and with reduced pesticides and fertilizer, under the idea of starting from the soil to make wine simply, and the wines are generally made without added sulfites and left unfiltered.
