Wakayama Yuasa Winery is a visitor-oriented winery in Yuasa, the town where soy sauce originated. Led by a winemaker with roughly 40 years of experience, it produces around 80,000 bottles a year (720ml equivalent), with a lineup that ranges from Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc wines to Hoka, a liqueur made from Wakayama-grown fruit.
