A winemaker from Okayama’s Domaine Tetta brought an artistic, land-and-people philosophy to Kaminoyama, opening Agri-Cœur’s own winery in 2025.
Agri-Cœur, whose name blends ‘agri’ for agriculture and ‘cœur’ for heart, was founded in 2022 by a winemaker previously at Domaine Tetta in Okayama. Drawing on winegrowing and winemaking experience in Japan and abroad, the project aims for artistic wine rooted in a sense of place and people, using grapes grown in Kaminoyama, Yamagata. It began brewing at its own winery in 2025.
