HOCCA WINERY

HOCCA Winery is made by Ouu Jiman, a sake brewery, which brings its brewing craft and philosophy into winemaking. The aim: wine that sits alongside a meal and speaks plainly for the grape's own character. Its name, HOCCA, comes from 'hokkamuri,' the headscarf farmers once wore. The winery sits along the Aka River in the Shonai Plain and grows Pinot Gris and Chardonnay.
