Pino Collina Farm Garden & Winery Matsugaoka opened in Tsuruoka's Matsugaoka district, part of a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy since 2020. Grapes from its own vineyard are made into wine by gravity flow, letting fruit move through the cellar without pumping. The house philosophy sums up its approach: wine is agriculture x art x chemistry — in other words, culture.
