Founded in 1990 in Takahata, Yamagata, this winery has grown into Tohoku's largest by shipment volume, welcoming visitors alongside its cellar. The range spans easy-drinking sweet wines and fruit wines through to serious Chardonnay whites and full-bodied reds, drawing on grapes grown across the prefecture — Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Delaware, Pinot Blanc, Muscat Bailey A (a Japanese-bred red), Pinot Noir and Niagara.
