Woody Farm & Winery is a domaine winery at the foot of Mount Zao, making wine only from about 9 hectares of its own vineyards. The fields are certified under Yamagata Prefecture's special cultivation program, which includes cutting chemical pesticide use in half, aiming for safe, flavor-rich wine.
