Asaya Winery has crafted wines expressing the character of Katsunuma, Yamanashi since its founding in 1921. Using GI Yamanashi (Geographical Indication)-certified Koshu (Japan's indigenous white grape), Muscat Bailey A (a Japanese-bred red), and Kai Blanc, it produces a range spanning red, white, rosé, and sparkling styles. Visitors can join a reserved, paid tour through the production floor and underground cellar.
