A Koshu specialist since 1952, tending own-rooted vines over 80 years old across a dozen Yamanashi plots.
Founded in 1952 as Gomi Fruit Juice Industry, the winery was renamed Comazono Vineyard in 2019. Every wine has been made from 100% Yamanashi-grown grapes since founding, drawing on twelve plots totaling about two hectares across four sites in the prefecture — including own-rooted, ungrafted Koshu vines more than 80 years old.
