Grace Wine distills Japan’s four seasons into Koshu, farmed at its own Misawa vineyard in Akeno for over a century.
Grace Wine, made by Chuo Budoshu, has worked in Katsunuma since 1923, more than a century of pursuing what it calls the beauty of Japan expressed through wine. The winery’s philosophy ties the refined, changeable sensibility shaped by Japan’s four seasons to its winemaking, drawing on its own Misawa vineyard in Akeno. It has become internationally recognized for its Koshu (Japan’s indigenous white grape), alongside reds built on Muscat Bailey A, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The wine shop offers seated tastings by arrangement, though there are no vineyard or winery tours.
