Founder Toshikazu Ikeda, captivated by wine, moved to Katsunuma and took over a food-group winery through a share transfer in 1995, going independent. His eldest son, Hidetoshi Ikeda, took over the business in 2023. The winery has won gold at the Japan Wine Competition.
