Kanai Jozo was founded in 1962 in Yamanashi City under the belief that 'wine records the nature of the land and its people.' It is run as a family winery by a husband and wife, who farm 0.6 hectares of their own vineyard while researching low-pesticide and biodynamic methods, aiming to convey the land through wine. The shop is closed on Tuesdays and closes early whenever the wine sells out.
