Kyoeido Winery was founded in 2016 in Makioka, Yamanashi City, under the philosophy of 'flourishing together,' making wine from Koshu (Japan's indigenous white grape) and Muscat Bailey A (a Japanese-bred red). Grapes come from the winery's own vineyards in Yamanashi and Koshu cities and from six contracted growers around the prefecture. Its wines are named with distinctive sequences of symbols and numbers rather than conventional names, and each vintage features a label created in collaboration with an artist, reflecting the winery's aim of fusing wine and art.
