Ogasawara Farm began farming as an agricultural corporation in 2015 and opened its winery in 2022, at the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake in Hokuto. Its signature product is Poiré, a wine made from European pears grown on the farm — a rare style in Japan — alongside grape wine.
