Suzuran Winery

Suzuran Winery holds that the best wine comes from the best grapes. It is known for Kokonoe Champagne, made in 1905 as a purveyor to the Imperial Household Ministry's army — a historic credential for the house. In 2004 it became an agricultural production corporation, expanding its own farms and cultivating new varieties. Today it remains a small, family-run operation, and visits with tastings are available by reservation.
