Noto Wine was founded in 2004 as Ishikawa Prefecture's first winery. Its wines are made entirely from grapes grown on hillsides that catch the sea breeze of the Noto Peninsula, with an emphasis on the gentle fruit character typical of the region. The winery produces about 120,000 bottles a year.
