Kikuka Winery, an estate-style winery in the Kikuka district of Yamaga, Kumamoto, opened in 2018 and uses only grapes from its own and contracted vineyards in Kikuka. Positioned on the western side of Mount Aso, it grows Chardonnay, Muscat Bailey A, and Merlot, and has won numerous awards at competitions in Japan and abroad.
